START OF THE SEASON:
Equipment for new 8U players and equipment swap for returning 8U players will take place:
|
Saturday, September 13 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. |
|
Monday, September 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. |
After these equipment swap dates, the equipment room will be open once a month.
Specific dates to be determined. Please plan accordingly.
DURING THE SEASON:
To better serve our families and to keep our inventory accounted for and organized, the Equipment Room at the New Ulm Civic Center will generally be open for 8U equipment swaps on the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting on November 4.
If that Tuesday falls on a holiday or is impacted by weather (e.g., snowstorm), we’ll communicate any changes in advance — typically, the following Tuesday would be the backup.
The equipment room schedule can be found on the 8U calendars.
In between these dates, the equipment room will be locked with limited to no ready key access. Players and families should plan accordingly to ensure that their player has their equipment for games and practices.
NUSE Hockey provides ALL gear, including skates, for players in our 8U program (every kid ages 4 years old through 3rd grade). See start of the season equipment dates and when the equipment room is open during the season. Sizes may be limited for smaller 4-5 year old players.
SEHA provides helmets, skates and elbow pads for the 4U Program (ages 3 to 4). Equipment for the 4U Program is handed out on the first night of practice, which is usually mid-November.
As a reminder, families are responsible for purchasing a neck guard to be on the ice. Neck guards are required. The Association does not provide neck guards. If the player does not have a neck guard, they will not be able to be on the ice.
